Kazuma Cougar 250CC Electric Choke Problem
#1
Can anyone help? Now Kazuma tell me after I sent them my carb, choke(s), CDI, temp gauge, temp sensor that the hole in the carb for the choke needle is too big and I need to buy a new carb????? Sounds like a MFG issue..... Still dont know why I cant see the needle move.
Need help! 4 weeks and still a dead ATV....

I have a similar issue, I have a Kazuma 250 Falcon, it was running fine now it wont start-has spark at plug, kill switch checks good, good compression, will start with either but then dies. Carb has auto choke, doesnt seem to be getting gas-I drained the carb drain screw and it drained fine. Unsure what to do-The gromet where the carb attaches to the motor seems loose, actually nothing seems to be holding it to the motor-there is a hole for a screw but none there.

I think you are referring to the manifold that is the rubber boot that the carb hooks on to. look for cracks in it and when you get it running, spray some carb cleaner or either on it to see if there is any leaks. The motor should surge.
Name Manifold (250cc Carb.)
Code/Part Number: 250A-351-003
Price $20
Quantity 0
Mine just started crapping out after I beat it around for a while. A mechanic from Scooterbille said that we should try readjusting the valves. He had a similar problem after usage and the valves broke in. We went through EVERYTHING even the carb, jets, etc.
Your issue might be the same or you are getting too much air in and not sucking enough fuel.

that may be it but I cannot understand how this carb is suppost to hook to the engine-the front of the carb hooks fine to the flex pipe that goes into the airbox but the back of the carb that mounts to the engine has a small rubber gromet type hookup but there is absolutly nothing holding it. on one side there is a hole thru the rubber and metal but no screw. Any ideas how that hooks, cause its defentaly getting too much air
The factory told me to clean the jet screws, but that didnt help.
They said also to use a car 12vdc battery on the choke to see it pop on and off
