I'm looking at an outty 400 and want to hear what you guys think. What is top speed.

Will it run 50mph Comfortably on pavement? Or on Flat Hard Pack?

There must be something wrong with the outty 400 if the top speed is only 55 cause i have two outlander 400s and when they were stock the top speed was 63mph and that was clocked with a gps. The outlander 400s will cruise at 50 mph. The outty 400 will run with any 500cc atv and outrun most of them.

 

63mph WOW! I just want something so I can run with my friends Suzuki Vinson. Hey Baddest400 had any reliability problems? And what do you meen when they were stock? What did you do to them?

The outty 400 will run with a vinson 500 easily actuall has higher top speed stock. My outty 400 has 4500 miles on it and still runs as good as when i first bought it. My outty 400 has a biggun exhuast, k&n air filter, dial-a-jet, tpi valve, clutch kit, and power belt.Its top speed is around 65 but u dont actually gain higher top speed with mods. the mofifications just get to top speed a whole lot quicker. Taller tires are the only thig that will give higher top speed which my outty 400 has 26in xtrs.

Yea i got my clutch kit from epi but the dalton pro clutch kit is the best. But does cost alot..

 

I was looking and can't find the biggun exhaust. were did you get it and how much?
