Well, we were there but we were alone. RRSD's is a great track that is groomed for the fastest bikes that can run. We have done everything possible to have the track in the best condition for everybody to get the best they can get out of it. I just have one question.... Where was everybody?????. Is there a problem with the facilities??? or was it just a bad time for racing?? We strive to have a track that will compete with the best tracks in the country. Be it locals or racers from a long way off what needs to be done to get your interest up enough to come to RRSD's. I have thought long and hard about the cost associated with our sport and it is not a small number. The cost of gas just to get someplace is a major factor for many. Maybe it is the wrong time of year.
We started out keeping the track open year around because we thought there was a demand. From reading the forums I sure thought there was a demand for a place to race. This weekend was a perfect weekend to get some racing done but we had the track to ourselves.
Let us know what we can do to get a good race turnout. You as the racers need to help us put together a schedule that works to have a good turnout. WE ARE OPEN FOR SUGGESTIONS.
As of this post we are looking at Labor day weekend for our next race day. How does that sound for everybody???
Tracks anywhere can not survive without attendance. RRSD's is a private enterprise that only strives to supply a place for family oriented activities.
Let us know what we need to do to improve and get RRSD'S as a place to go.

Bob I bet there were alot of poeple out on vacations and such being it's so close to the 4th. They have started working us 6 days a week at cooper so there goes a few of the regulars right there. With plenty on notice for upcoming events and keeping everyone informed I bet it will still draw a crowd. Keep it on the forums so everyone knows what's up. I'm like you I would hate to see this place die out.
