Raptor660 Tach Install
#1
I just bought a 8000 rpm gauge and tried installing it to my 660r. Its supposed to be for a car and I tried it my raptor. It has 4 wires, green, white, red, and black. This is how it is supposed to be wired, black to ground, red to ignition switch, white to one of the headlights and the green to the negative wire on the coil. The gauge lights up but it would not rev up. I tried the other wire on the coil with the green wire but still would not work. Anyone have an idea? What could it be wrong?
