01 recon dying

01 recon dying
After a two hour ride the other day my recon would die out going up hills or during a wheelie. I checked the air filter area and it was dry. It seems that when it is tilted up a hill or on angle up it dies. sometimes in hard acceleration. Has anyone had this happen? What do I need to check? Thanks.

check your plug! my 01 rubicon had similiar issues also, but come to find out it was the spark plug, put a new one it and runs very good now.
