Hello all, I have a follow-up question about the higher candlepower replacement bulbs for my 00 SP500.
I have searched darn near every auto parts store in Omaha, and even Rapid City over christmas, and cannot find a Lazer Blue, Xenon, etc. type H4 bulb for my pod light.
I can special order a Piaa bulb, but to be honest with you, I don't feel like waiting a couple of weeks for it, or paying the $50 I'm told it will cost.......
I bought a Napa (Wagner) 100 Watt H4 as was recommended by Kagey, although I could only get a 100W, not a 120w. On the way out of the store, I decided to buy a 60/55w LazerBlue HB2 bulb as well, since the bulb, housing, and everything looks identical to the H4.

Here is my question........

Can a HB2 bulb be used instead of a H4 bulb? Everything between the two bulbs appears to be identical, so I don't understand what the differences are. Since the HB2 bulb was $17, and the H4 $12, I'd rather see if someone knows before I do my own experiment and possibly throw the money away, or do damage to my ride. Thanks for the info!

Scott
