'05 Yamaha Bruin 250 won't shift

My son was riding our Bruin 250 and all of a sudden it wouldn't shift. It runs great but won't go in gear. <span class="FTHighlightFont">Help!!</span ft> We use it daily on the farm. Thanks in advance

could be bent shift forks, does the clutch work, maybe some gears shredded

'05 Yamaha Bruin 250 won't shift

the shifter moves up and down, you can feel the gears engaging, there's just a small initial movement and that's it, doesnt actually go anywhere
