I just had a chance to test out the new shock/spring combo on a trail in Canada. It is a little stiffer than stock but ground clearance went up to 10 1/2" and no more diving when under hard braking.
Sliding around corners was easy and I couldn't bottom it out on normal hard riding.
This is on an '06 800 Max by the way.
Well worth the $200.

 

I just checked again and the ground clearance stayed the same, so after 100 miles no sagging.
