OK tire brand and tread pattern lug depth varys to your need. my question to all would what would you by.
this is the bike my son 230 trailblazer we live in northern vt we seldom have the bottomless pit of mud. Clay at times which when packed in will bring the bigest lug to a slick. most of the riding is in old meelee forest rock ledge when wet provides quite a lot of surprizes. most mud holes have a solid bottom the oem tires are to wide and flat ,rounded narrow tires seem to produce the best result which tread would you suggest been on 4 wheel drive so long forgotton how much a two wheel drive need all the help it can get.

Default tires

Someone showed me picks of their trail boss with mudlites on the rear and added
weight plates like another 50 pounds to make the rear heavy for going thru mud.
Not sure how effective it is.

My problem is the opposite, I need some good MUD tires with a soft bottom. I hear the Mudlites and
Swamplites are ideal. Still haven't bought them yet though.

Default tires

we put regual mudlite at's on our trailblazer and they very a huge improvement over stock tires when they wore down and are real good in the mud for the wife to drive.

thank you for input mud lights was along the line i was thinking went out tonight and thoes flat bottom tires got loose on my boy 2 times turning him side ways in the trail he going to get banged up ,ordering this week.Rickwad mudlights are good tires had a set on my old 400 polaris just stay away for 489 or black waters if they still make them to heavy and will not hesitate to tear your front end apart polaris at least the guys i ride with keep loosing axels to much grip coming out of mud hole or if you come down on front on one tire snap. my cat does not have that problem but the two front bolts holding the front end in keep loosing up from the torque.anyway happy riding be safe keep them facing down.
