Ok, my 400 xplorer has a bad right front wheel. Its dented a little on the bead there for the tire leaks. But I cant find any info on my wheels anywhere, to knowing the stock size. In 2002 or so I bought stock sportsman tires from a guy for $200 brand new, but I cant remember if I kept the stock wheels on or not, but my question is do the tire size and wheel size match up....here they are:

Wheel: 12 x 6.0 AT
Tire AT 25 x 8-12

the way I see it it that the wheel is a 6" wide and the tire is 8" wide.....?? I just want to find a new wheel or nicely used one. Hope to get some info.

Depending on what material your wheel is made from you might be able to bang the dent out of the wheel. This could save you from having to buy one.

yeah I think ill try that. both fronts are kind of getting bad. Stock wheels, so maybe steel.
