I got an 06 wolvy 450 I had no problems with up untill now, on our last camping trip after playing around the river it started to lose power when I would put any throttle on. I don't know if this is a water issue or not because it has never done this before, and I tend to be drawn to water and mud. Also just recently I started running premium gas in it and put a k&N air filter on. Now at first we played around with the carb and drained the float bowl this seemed to work for a while. then it did it again so buddy worked with the carb some more and I changed the spark plug after that it was good to go for a few hour trip. Sooon as we got back I hit the water and it started up again even thought on our trip we were in the mud and water. So i need help and I'm no mechanic. If i have to tear into the carb again i would like to change the jets can anyone tell me what size to go with, I've got the k&N air filter and will be changing the exhaust. any help with upgrades would be appreciated.

 

check the clutch housing see if there is any water in the drain. If so pull the cover off and then repack the primary clutch.
