If everthing is working correctly, you shouldn't need to worry about manually turning on your fan. What is the issue you are having??

Default HELP

the plug is located under the front "hood" (just beneat the pod). It is a twin wire plug> i'll try to get the wire colors when I look at mine next. But scrammtodd says it right-- you shouldn't need the switch. There must be another problem..... can you tell us more about it?

I found that when I put the coolant temp gauge in, I never worry about how hot my bike is. Just a glance down and I know exactly how hot it is.

make sure your radiator isnt the main issue of the heating problem of being plugged from back as well as from front.
