Well, I just was out giving the new Cycle Country 48" plow a first run and the Trail Boss ate it up! I have a Warn 2000 winch mounted on the front so I tossed a 50lb bag of rock salt on the back rack for good measure. It basically cleared everything except for the packed ice. The extra weight on the front makes for more difficult steering when you're not moving but it's nothing too difficult to handle. I don't know how it handles on an icy drive but with www.northerntool.com offering 'V' bar chains for $25.00 (#6410) I ordered a pair so I won't have to worry. I do need to hook my winch to my plow differently though, sometimes I let it out too much and the hook comes loose from the plow. A bolt and a couple of nuts should work fine. All I need now is some more snow!!
