Default New Wolverine Rider checking in with a Question

Hello. I just picked up an '07 Wolverine 350. I've riden ATVs before, but this is the first one I've owned. How's the aftermarket for the Wolvies? If anyone has links for skids or racks, I'd appreciate it. Also is the 450 Wolvie on the same chassis as the 350? Are things like the skids and racks the same for both?

Thanks, Dave

The frame is different between the two, but that does not mean that the skid plates and racks might not be the same. According to the Yamaha parts catalog the all the skid plates are the same, and the factory rear grab bar is the same. The 350 2wd does not come with front a-arm skid plates, but the lower a-arms are the same as the 450 wolverine so you SHOULD be able to use the factory a-arm guards for the 450. The same with the front grab bar.

Bottom line is you should be able to order any of the factory GYTR guards, front carry bar or rear rack for the 450 and bolt them directly onto the 350 wolverine. Other than this I dont know of any other parts that interchange between the 350 and 450

Thanks. Are the GYTR parts much better than stock? Stronger? Lighter? I know my 350 has the stock belly and diff skids, but I haven't looked at them real close yet - just bought the quad last night

The GYTR parts are stronger, the rear diff plate is actually lighter than stock(or really close to the same weight.) The stock belly skid is plastic and the GYTR one is aluminum. The a-arm guards are non existant on the 350 and just cheap plastic on the 450 so I swapped all of my stock skid plates out for the GYTR aluminum ones and am very glad that I did. The front bumper would probably be a lighter weight one than factory because it would be aluminum compared to steel. The back rack is quite a bit heavier because there is a lot more aluminum than the factory steel hoop.
