i know this is an ATV forum but my dad just got an 07 honda crf450r and i am soon to be getting a bombardier ds650 baja w/pipe and he is running his mouth about how badd he is going to fly past me in the dunes.

does anyone know about how close a flat out drag race would be in the dunes?
(honda has no paddle tires, 650 does)

The dirt bike will most likely win unless you race up a hill, just from the weight advantage of the bike. But when you guy's go out duning, you will be way more comfy and not as tired from the dirt bike.

I used to run an XR600R in the sand, when I would race my friends on their ATV's I could win most of the time. But out in the dunes a ATV is the way to go.
