I removed the tip of my stock exhausht and took out the screen which is inside and put the tip back on. The exhaust sounds much better and meaner...The bike rides the same with no problems...Any long term problems anyone can see?

 

Starting forest fires?

 

Possible lean condition? Neighbors complaining? More ammo for anti-atvers?

 

could start fires in really dry times, the screen is a spark arrestor, designed to catch any sparks before they catch surrounding forest on fire. #2 you can be fined by forest service(DNR or whoever is in your state) if they catch you without a spark arrestor installed.

 

Anger small children in China?

 

I dont care about pissing off people or neighbors..I do however care about fires [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] I guess it would be a good idea to put it back on...Also on the noise note, it does not make the bike much louder...It only adds a lil tone to make it sound a lil meaner...The HHF pipe is louder then where my bike is at now...I guess I will just have to buy a new pipe [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]
