Default Rincon 680 NO LOW END POWER?

I am working on my uncles 2006 680 rincon. We just got back from riding the paiute trail. The machine has very little low end power. There were several hill the machine almost didn't make it up. Are there any fixes for the low power at low speeds? Any info would help.

Something's wrong with it... Does it cut out or anything? Does it do it both in auto and ESP?

i have a 2007 rubicon which has drive 1 and 2 mode. I am pretty sure the rincon just has auto and esp mode. I was told buy honda sale people that the rincon was a sport quad with racks on it. NO low end torque. I am not bashing it! it is fuel injected i believe, maybe the injector is dirty or something? Clogged air filter.

Actually, I've found mine has plenty of low end punch, and it will do better in soft, loamy steep climbs than my 500 Foreman will.

The only time I find I wish it had lower gears is in super steep technical decents. I could see where riders who run big tires in bottomless sticky mud would want a gear down kit.

Anyhow if the thing almost won't make a hill there's something wrong with it. It should either flip over backwards or spin the tires and dig in way before it begins to run out of power on a steep climb.
