sport 400 vs 2 dirtbikes
#1
well my super clean 99 sport might be done for.
while rounding a long sweeping corner sunday at the trails. i was leading the way going about 30 according to the quad behind me when i met 2 dirtbikes racing toward me then whammmmm..... .the first dirtbike hit me in the right front wheel snapping the a arm , busting off the strut housing and sending me flying over the handlebars and rolling my quad 3 times which landed on the 2nd dirtbike who had laid it down trying to stop. somehow i landed about 15 feet from my quad on the muddy bank of the river b4 i knew what even happened i was wearing helmet boots and gloves and only sustained two broken fingers a sore neck and some road rash from the trail. the other guys were in good shape too considering how it could have been
the first bike was totaled i'm sure , it broke all but 3 spokes out of the front wheel bent both fork legs and bars and broke his frame in two places
i was just glad everything worked out as lucky as it did(no kids involved )and we both walked away, although my quads is going to need some serious attention ,i hope its fixable
if anyone has a front a arm , yellow front plastic ,right strut housing and strut ,stock 400 pipe, right aluminum floorboard, front gray aluminum wheel, and a tie rod let me know OH and some painkillers
thanks in advance for the help
rich

Ouch, makes me glad I slow down a bit on blind corners. Also, it is a good idea if you are in an area that has alot of wildlife to slow down on blind corners. My son and a friend's son had to hit the brakes hard for a couple of deer standing around a corner.
