Hi guys, little late on this subject, but stumbled across an older posting about clipping the pink wire from case (4th gear restrictor?) on an 06, and was wondering if the mod was applicable to older TRX's (particulary an 03). thx eds

 

Haven't done it to ours, but I know that there have been threads on the topic going back several years. No motor changes in the TRX 90 - same for all years.

 

Thanks, getting ours ready for a trip to the mountains, changed everything over to Amsoil last night (really impressed with the drop in operating temp. on my XR400), and will hunt the illusive "pink wire" tonight.
