[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]Just got home from a five day ride in the mountains of WV.We averaged 70 miles per day...Only saw three other riders on the trip..Saw a few bear..Lots of deer and turkeys...We had four Sportsman 500 EFI's and a Hawkeye...All machines performed perfectly..The Hawkeye (My grandson's 2006 2x4) amazed us all with it climbing abilty .We rode from 1800 ft. to 4850 ft...Got caught in a couple thunderstorms but everthing else went just fine.....Wild Wonderful WV...

 

Sorry that should be 5 day ride....

 

Where did you guys go? We rode Harlen County Virginia and it was awesome. We have been doing some research into riding in West Virginia, and hope to go in the fall.

well im glad the Ole Hawkeye did well, mine always does good, nothing like long rides and camping out.

 

that sounds like a awesom vacation. im jealous and wish i had the time to go and not to mention good riding buds. sorry to say my diasappointing season of maybe 75 to 80 miles sucks. oh well got to work sometimes to pay for the toys.

 

did you ride the rockhouse trail system? that is my favorite--- glad you had a great time!! I always have a great time there.
