Tires on Wolverine...Is it Safe?
#1
hello. I was curious if i took the stock tires on my 2007 Wolverine, in the rear, and made them flip sides thus reversing the tread, if i would cause any damage. i have read it is kind of like a poor man's paddle tire, but how safe is it, under normal driving?

since you are looking for paddle tires, Im assuming you are going to be riding in the sand. If so, then no...you wont damage anything, the sand is soft enough so it wont tear them up. If you were riding on the road, you may tear them up a little since they are directional.

MIwolvy, i was looking at your pics and you said you had a wreck on the wolvy...any pics of that?

Granado_jake,
I dont have any pics of the quad after the wreck, but I can take a few tonight with it all torn apart and show the broken pieces. I broke the right side foot rest or whatever you call it, broke the front fender on the right side, broke off the choke lever, and stressed all of the plastic pretty bad so it was all discolored.
For all the new fenders, plus the foot rest piece (or whatever you want to call it), a few new screws, graphics, and the choke lever it was around $230....I ordered them online so shipping was expensive ($170) but it still came out cheaper than the price I got from my local yamaha dealer for all the new parts.
