Default Extended warranty?

This may have been talked to death in the past, but what's the latest thinking?

If you had it to do over again, would you buy the extended warranty? Thanks.

Default Extended warranty?

i only have mine because it was free. i would read the fine print and ask alot of questions to what it covers and what it doesnt cover. be informed as to what it does not cover so there will be no surprises and then ask your self if its worth it. just my .02

Default Extended warranty?

my 2cents worth is that I spent the extra cash to extend both my 450's to 4 yrs.
(600 and some change, I put on the second when I bought then before the first
ran out of Mfg. warrenty, I called and dropped the same coverage on it). So far I
hadn't had to ring that dinner bell yet so to speak cuz I don't run them as often
as others and nearly as rough (All shame to say).

Would I do it all over again? Well if I had the money!

Alot of the decision is how long you keep your machines for. I have owned around 10 atv's in my life and have really only needed the warranty on the 2007 Sporty deluxe that I recently retired because of the problems it had. I usually only keep my machines two to three years cuz I don't like to dump money into alot of repairs. I try to get in as much miles in the initial warranty period which I believe is when most of your problems really occur. As the technology improves, so should the reliability. I have yet to purchase an extended warranty.
