I'm new to 2 strokes but determined to learn them inside and out. Have an '03 Banshee that had the normal smoke puffing from exhaust. Of course the stockers had to go so I got a good deal on some slightly used t-5 toomy's off ebay. Slapped 'em on and jetted with 270 mains. The thing is now theres no smoke coming out of the toomy's. We were told to run 40:1 mix and, we always round to the rich side.

Is it normal or should it smoke a little?

 

at 40:1 they don't smoke much.. mine has NEVER smoked smoked sssoo no big deal

 

Cool thanks. I'm not going to worry about it then. I just wondered because it stopped after we put on the toomy's and jets. I was worried had the jetting off.

By the way. What did you use to polish up those plastics on the warrior in your pics Speedy?
