Default Grizz Power Steering

Had a chance to test drive a grizz 700 with the new electric power assisted steering. Have to say I was skeptical but now I am a believer. I was doing kind of a slalom thing at low speed in 4x4 around trees and I could steer it with my fingers. Then I saw the new Yamaha camo and couldn't get over how cool it looked. I think I will wait until the 08's come out and add one to my collection. I think a set of black 14" SS 108's with 27" mudzillas will complete the package. Have to figure out how to slip that one by wifey without her noticing.

The more time you spend on a Grizzly 700 the more you will realize how much the power steering helps. I think it is especially nice when racing in really rocky terrain. It is almost scary the way you can hold it wide open over the roughest rockiest nastiest terrain there is, and have the quad stay straight as an arrow through it all, and not even feel it through the handlebars. I'm definitely sold on the power steering.

Yamaha didn't change anything mechanical on the '08 model Grizzly 700, and they are having a pretty decent deal on the left over '07 models. I just picked up an '07 SE model for $500 off, plus a free five year warranty, and a winch for $69. So I think it is debatable whether to get an '08 model or not. The '08 models are out now by the way, and the camo pattern is a little different than the '07 models.

The dealer extended the warranty another three years to sweeten the deal and get me to buy one of the '07 Grizzlys he still had left over. It was basically the same as dropping the price another $300.

5 year warranty would be worth it's weight in gold. I would be really interested in talking with your dealer if he has any 07's left. Where are you located?

That's a little far for me. Guess I'll have to work a deal with my dealer here near Chicago.

I have an 07 griz 700 I have about 1,000 miles on it and haven't had any problems. It has gone through everything I have tried.
The power assist even works when its in the water. It has never failed yet and I use my machines.

That's good to hear. My business partner headed up to the dealer tonite to inquire about a new 700 grizz with the power steering. He seemed pretty intrigued by it and I think he may purchase one. Can't wait to take it thru the deep stuff.
