I have an 05 Grizz with only about 1600 miles on it, but this weekend I began to notice a rattle that seemed to come and go depending on the throttle. Also heard it when I would give it a little gas when it was parked. Seems to be mostly at lower RPMs, at full throttle I don't hear anything (of course, the engine noise might drown it out), but its noticeable at lower RPMs. There doesn't seem to be any changes in overall performance associated with this new noise. Normal wear and tear, or something I should be worried about?

could be the heat shield on the exhaust.

 

i agree, i myself just had to rig the heat shield on the pipe too.
