Hi all. I noticed that my new 2007 700 EFI has a wire coming out from under the headlight pod that has a flat, white plastic three wire plug connector on the end. It looks like it should be connected to something? is it possiblely a connector for a winch control?

 

I have the same harness on my 500. I have no idea what it's for but I just tucked it into the pod and haven't thought about it since.

 

i beleave it s one of the plugs to plug into the diag. as i was told 2 yrs ago but no worries as i did what scrammy did lol.

if you can give me the wire colors.........Caper.........

 

yah i was told by my dealer that its one of the ways they can find codes and everything else. Just a connection to plug into there computers at the shops.

 

ya its for the code readers i do beleave.

 

definately the code reader wires for the shop to hook it up to. I asked the shop and they cant even buy the reader. They have to call Polaris to borrow it. seems stupid they cant even buy the reader themselves

 

And here I thought Polaris had a special hookup for hand warmers already installed for easy hand warmer hookup. I guess my guess was wrong. Too lazy to look it up. Rode all day yesterday.

 

ya and i had to tuck my wire in on my 08 as well.
