Default maintance ??

Just got a new 110CC for my son and in the owners manual it says after 20Hrs. change oil in gear box. Clean the box with Kerosene and add new oil. Im going to put new oil as others suggested because of the junk they put in it but do i clean it out with Kerosene before i put in the new oil?? And i Guess theres no Oil filter on it is there anything i need to keep an eye on?

On most of mine I just ran a couple quarts of walmart oil through them before riding. Let it run for about ten minutes then shut it off and drain oil. Add a quart of cheap oil and run for ten minutes and shut off and drain. I do this a couple times before i put in the good oil. We run ours 10 hours between oil changes because without a oil filter the quality of oil is what make these engines last.

What type of oil do you use? Cheap/Good. I plan on going to Wal-mart in the morning

I run castrol synthetic in all my quads after they are broke in. Untill i get them broke in i use castrol 15w40 diesel oil or valvoline 4 stroke atv oil. You can get the valvoline atv oil at tractor supply.
