How does the sealed wet brake work do they wear out? what's the up's and down's of this set up?

 

Like all brakes they will wear out but they last a lot longer. Benefits to a sealed wet disk, quieter, longer lasting, mud doesnt effect it, smaller package. Downside is that when it does come time to rebuild them its not as simple or as cheap as just sliding new pads into place.
