I have a 98 sport 400l. Does anyone with a scrambler or sport have a modded air box? I have a K&N on there would i gain any more power opening up the box or is it not worth the extra maintenance of cleaning?

 

i own a 1998 scrambler 400 sport, and most ppl i talk to say they make wholes in thier airbox or they take the top cover off the top to open it to the two holes. only thing is in my case i do alot of driving through water so that would just make it a more of a chance of getting water in the aribox and plus i would have to change my main jet cause ur adding more air flow to ur gas mix

 

And i do a lot of riding in really bad dust. Is it even worth it power wise?
