Hello- I have never owned an ATV before. However, last year I moved to a new house where I have 13 acres and access to about 400 acres to hunt and ride ATV's (If I had one & once the crops are out!!). A good friend has a 2000 Polaris Sportsman 500HO that he is offereing me for $2500. It has 146 hours and is riden every year but very little. Did this year have any problems I should know about? Is 146 hours pretty low for a 7 year old machine? Thanks for any input.

I am going to pick it up on Wednesday for a day in the woods with it to see how it runs.

the 500 is a very good bike w/out too many problems and w/ plenty of power and good ride. thats not alot of hrs on a bike of any age and if you know the guy its even better so you know how it was kept. just my .02
