Default Sand Rat Drags no more

I am sure most have heard already but Jim is selling the store and closing Sand Rat Drags!
I believe there is another buyer in line for the store but the track will be done! I just recently went to Sandfest and had a chance to hit the track for test and tune. With me on my bike i ran 2 4.1's and a 4.0 . I put a 170lb pilot on the bike and he ran a few 4.0's and then a 3.93 with a 60ft of 1.31! Not bad for a stock cylinder 7mm banshee and no wheely bar!!!

Thanks to Sandbomber for the hookup on the paddles.... and hopefully with some gearing change, i will hit 3.90's with me on the bike!

Kane,

You wasted your time by posting info about a sand drag track on this site.

This is now a duner site.

Dunners, Draggers, and track riders....It does not matter what you prefer to ride.... Anytime we lose a place to put the power to the ground it is a very bad thing....... No one wants to see our sport die in any way shape or form!!!

I agree with dragon. I know one place in particular here in California where they are slowly cutting down where you can ride. Really sux.
