just a quick fyi. If any of you want a HMF for your 2000-2002 Kodiak I just put one on ebay.

 

How loud i this pipe....I would love the better flow,but dont wana get to noisy...............i tried removing my spark arrestor on the stock pipe and that was louder than I want

 

it is pretty loud especially when you go full throttle. hmf does sell a "quiet core" for $20 but I don't know how well it works. I would have just left it on but I go deer hunting every fall and it is louder than the stock pipe. Of course it also makes your kodiak go faster so it just depends on your usage.
