Can someone help a fat guy out? I would like any help or instructions to test the CDI and/or rev limiter on a 97 Sportsman 500. I guess while I'm beggin' for help here, can the shifter or transmission linkage be adjusted?

 

i believe on the 97 the rev limiter is a little black box under the hood under the pod you can disconnect the wire to eliminate it and see if your problem goes away im told its a black wire
