Default Polaris Outlaw 525 Water Shorts Out

I bought a new 07 Polaris 525 Outlaw and it shorted out going through the smallest creek. Some water splashed over the front in the electrical area. Wouldn't start for 2 hours. Any suggestions?

Find all the electrical connections and put dielectric grease in them. That should keep the moisture out of things. Also have a look inside the airbox for signs of water. Make sure to look at your plug wire and make sure it's not shorting out on something. Best of luck
