Next week the slickster is going to put into affect the forest service plan that will close roadless areas to all. That means no offroad traffic in these areas, and No new trails and No new Roads. Well I guess it will still be public land and we can all enjoy it if we Happen to own a small Aircraft and fly over it.

It's liberal eco-fanatics like this, who are solely responsible for closing down our public lands. This has NOTHING to do with registration stickers, or EXHAUST NOISE LEVELS! We, as ATV riders were powerless to stop this. Clinton has abused the Antiquities Act of 1906 to attack the rights of loggers, farmers, and off-road riders.

To all of you who voted for Bush, thank you. That is the single biggest step you could have taken to help us regain access to OUR public lands. With the Clintonistas, or any other liberal Democrats in office, our chances are slim to none. With a conservative in office, we can expect a President who will not wield the EPA as a weapon against the rights of the US citizens.

 

If we got a GOOD president in office could he reverse the decision somehow, and along with that, open up some more land?

 

Well, it kind of sucks, because Clinton only had to issue an executive order to banish us from our public land, but Bush will have to go through many government and regulatory procedures to reverse them. But fear not, the timber and farming groups are sure to file suits against the constitutionality of Clinton's landgrabs, with the support of congressional Republicans.

I believe that a suit has already been filed, the Secretary of Agriculture (Whom by the way Clinton appointed.....) stated that this move will surely be the end of ALL national forests. Reason being, without new fire roads, and selective logging, ALL 60 MILLION ACRES will burn to the ground.

The Firemen of the world are also really upset over this snake's move. I am confident that it will be overturned, if not, well, they'll have to catch me to ticket me, and they CAN'T CATCH MY RAPTOR!

God gave us this land, ride it! "The earth is here for us to use, it is a dying planet, no amount of enviornmental action or preservation can stop that fact."

 

I can't believe your attitude. It's a dying planet? It's because of attitudes like that that we need environmental extremists. I was in support of a middle of the road approach to environmental issues, but people like you open my eyes to what the envionmentalists are really up against. They've got their work cut out for them and need all the help they can get.

i love it, one more reason to try and screw all of us out and having less and less area to ride, Bush will remove them and hopefully he'll straighten out the mess clinton has made, u see these eco freeks and they drive older cars that burn more gas and make more pollution then half the cars today, but they dont think so, planes burn more fuel then anything else, why dont they try to shut down the aircraft industry then pick on a small portion of people who just want to have some fun riding? screwy huh?

Eco-fanatics are interested in only one thing: to halt the progress of humankind, all in the name of "saving mother earth." The earth is NOT in need of saving. You will notice, that the eco-nuts have NEVER, EVER brought even the tiniest shred of proof to the table, that the earth is "dying." How can mankind possibly destroy something as massive and magnificent as this planet? It's simply not in our power. You're an ATVer, you should know!

Have you ever rode to the top of big hill, or scaled the side of a mountain as far as you could? And when you got there, did you look out at the forest, from your high vantage point and REALLY begin to get a glimpse of how HUGE our planet is?

Make no mistake, the environmentalist hate you, and they hate your sport. There is no compromise with these narrow extremists, and they WILL NOT HESITATE to lie, and lie, and lie, in order to get what they want.

But don't take my word for it. Go look at Greenpeace.org, or Sierraclub.com. Those are the websites of the two largest militant environmental groups, and I promise you, sir, they offer ZERO proof that there is global warming, or that mankind is responsible for any massive destruction.

That's because no such proof exists. They are lies. It is propoganda. They are hammered into us everyday with the same tired scare tactics.

There is just as much fuel now as there was three months ago, but our gasoline prices went up because of increased EPA regulations, and our natural gas costs went up to twice the all time national high, (I get this information, because my wife works for a large natural gas reseller, and it is in fact twice the all time national high. over $10 bucks a unit from less than $2 last year, and the all time high before then was $5.04 per unit) because the Envioro-Idiots took out coal mining. Oh and have you seen your electric bill lately? Yeah, double, why? Because the COAL BURNING ELECTRIC PLANT HAS TO BUY NATURAL GAS NOW! (Not to mention the price of the new Natural Gas Turbine.....) What color is your quad? GREEN???

I ride my ATV through the woods, occasionally taking out one or two small samplings, and possibly making it a little more muddy.

A forest fire, that can't be stopped because there is no fire road, takes out the whole damn forest. Jeez, good thing the envioro-idiots won huh? It seems nature will get to do more to destroy itself now.
