Fan Running
I noticed while hunting this weekend about half of time when I am going to turn off atv the fan is running, should I let fan finish cycle or is it alright to shutdown when ever your done riding. Just a note everything is working fine just a coincidence that its cycling when I reach my destination, I traveled same distance back and forth 4 times a day going to stand

The fan on my 800 runs more than the one on my 500 ever did. It seems that it's running about half the time when I pull into the garage. I don't bother waiting until the fan turns off before turning the engine off.
This is one of those things that it doesn't matter either way, do whatever makes you feel better.

when motors not running coolant is not circulating so fan is only cooling whats in radiator so its ok to just shut off its not gonna get any hotter. but if u were gonna hop back on in 2 min then maybe but it wont matter really. so i guess its up to u.

no need to let the fan run. its just draining the battery for nothing. i only time i let the fan cycle is when im going to take right back off again. the twins do run alot hotter then the singles so the fan does run more. just make sure that the radaitor is being kept clean.
