Besides a new plug what part if any is know to go out on a 300ex. What part should I check 1st. Do you know where I could find used 300ex parts?

 

theres a reverse and neutral switch in the right side casing that could go bad. Possibly just check the wires that are running to it in front of where the reverse cable hooks up. Theres a little black cover on that, unplug them and check continuity on those. Could also be a bad CDI box.. easiest way to check that is take one from a running 300 and swap them out. Or, the coil may be bad. Check the reverse/neutral switch wires first. I've got extra CDI's if you realize thats whats wrong.
