Don't know how to post a pic., so a description will have to do. Installation was a cinch because the "Tatou" product was fantastic and the instructions were clear.
Still have to fabricate the brackets as the kit for my quad is not yet developed by the mfg. Still remains to be seen if the 300CC engine is big enough to "git er done". Will post further as I progress.

Yes I would to know also.............That must be alot of extra weight..........Do you have the one just for snow?.......Or can you run it in the dirt and mud?(wheels not slides)..............The snow ones just have the sliders on them like the sleds......So you need the lube on them too keep them cool!!.........Caper..........

Mine are snow only. The 4 seasons (4S) apparently require a min. of 400CC. The ones that I have use slides and bogeys. The 4S apparently are good for mud, sand, snow, wet or dry but I think they are only bogeys. I am surprised at how heavy each track assembly is and these are the lightest ones made, but remember its unsprung weight. That means they support the atv and are below the springs. The atv dosen't carry the extra load on its back.

Yes, your right about the ATV not carring the extra weight...........

.............But the ATV still needs to turn the extra weight!!!.........Caper.............

Most riders on here can feel the differance just in adding up-graded tires........Only a few pounds each more per tire..............But loose there top end speed...........Do you know how much more weight each track is compared to each tire and wheel??..........Caper............

Each track weighs 73 lbs = 292 lbs minus approx. 20 lbs per wheel & tire = 212 lb net gain. Quad alone weighs 550 so all up weigh should be around 765. I believe that with that weight, 300CC's, and the low gearing I ordered, I will be happy with 25 mph. More interested in its ability to climb.

your cv joints will probally be the weak point and if you put to much force on them they will snap, they are weak weak weak

After crawling around under the quad and building the brackets, I can see a couple of areas that may be vulnerable. The CV joints as mentioned and the ball joint dosen't look all that beefy but I'm not hard on equipment so I'll baby it for a while and see what transpires.

I just had another look at the CV joint area regarding concern for their weakness. The track mfg. built in some safeguards in the front mounting bracket to limit the amount the front tracks can turn (left and right) to reduce the angle on the CV joint. Nothing is indestructible however. And as far as torque or applying power, it is a Hawkeye!

I think sometimes we under estimate the value of the forum as a potential for information and critiques. Keep it up guys as it gives everyone food for thought!!

Looks good. I hope the engine and drivetrain hold up with the excess weight and tourque needs. Let us know how things are going and your impressions of the system.
