Default Slipon vs. full system

for a 400ex is there a big power difference between a slipon exhaust and a full exhast system?

depends what kinda exhaust you get cause some differ between full sys and a slip on but it all depends how much your willing to pay for an exhaust and what kind your interested in getting.

Default Slipon vs. full system

A full system makes a big difference on a 400ex especially if you have other engine mods.
Compare the diameter of the stock head pipes and the aftermarket units. The after markets pipes have a much larger diameter.
