Hi, I've had the 420 Rancher for about 6 months now... the other week is has stopped shifting when it get hot, not overheated, just hot. When it is cold, works perfectly. I don't know what the problem is, is there any body that can help me?? THANKS.

 

Lots of ES problem posts right now. Some of the components are the subject of a recall, so check on that with your dealer.

 

I am having the same type of problem with my 07 Foreman ES. Is your gear indicator flashing. If there is a problem it should flash a code that tells you what component part of the ES system has a problem. Mine blinks 3 times (then pauses and blinks again, over and over). Code 3 means an issue with the angle sensor which I've read is a very common problem. I have ordered a sensor hopefully that fixes it. There are a ton of post about ES problems right now so you are not alone, apparently lots of ES problems.

As for any recalls this is the first I've heard of recalls. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY MORE INFO ON ANY RECALLS.

 

How old is your Rancher? If new, it's bound to have a warranty and like Recon said, check into recalls.
