Newbie Tire Question
#1
Hey guys, I'm new on here and researching getting some new tires/wheels. I ride a 2006 Rancher 2x4 manual.
I'm pretty set on the ITP Delta Steel 12x7 Blacks in the 2+5 and 5+2 offsets.
Question is how does this offset compare to the stock wheels?
Next, do I need to stick with the 25's rather than going to 26's? I don't want to lose much power for getting through the muck.
I imagine something like a MST or Mudlite 25" is a little bitter than my stock CL tire.
Should I keep the front tires 1" smaller than the rears or do them both the same? I don't want the fronts to stick out really wide or anything, just a little to keep it a little more stable on the sidehills.
Thanks!

Dont know much about the offsets compared to stock. But IMO I would go with the 26" mudlite's. I like the way they look same size all the way around, but its prolly better to go one size smaller on the front. All depends on what look your going for.

I agree with the mud tires. I own an 06 Rancher 4x4 and ride with alot of 2x4 bikes. I play rescue vehicle alot. Most of the time guys have worn out or the wrong tread pattern for where we ride. In the hills of West Virginia.
