Default 1994 Sportman Spark

Hi Guys and Gals, I'm new to the sight looking for an answer to my problem. I have a 1994 Sportman 400. It has a new Stator just put on. My problem When I hit the start button I get one spark from the plug, then nothing, wait two seconds hit the button again, one spark, then nothing.

What could be the problem? It has a new plug wire and spark plug.

Any help will be apprciated

not sure if its adjustable or not, but is the air gap right between the stator and flywheel? what about the coil? is it good and do you have good grounds all round and not corroded? just a couple of idears.

Okay, Thanks for the help...I did a bypass of the CDI box for safty switches, and Now have spark, disconnected the black wire off of the CDI to test this. Now I have to find out if its the Reverse Limiter or the Kill Switch.
