Sunk my Wolverine today
#1
I was playing in a pond and hit a hole Next thing I know it was underwater to the bars. By the way they do float without a rider on them. I got it out and running again after pulling the plug, draining the fuel from the carb and standing it on end to drain all the water out. but I checked the oil and it looked like chocolate milk So I ended up getting towed home instead of riding it just in case. Heck it was time for an oil change anyways. What I should do before riding again?

You'll probably have to change the oil a couple of times before it stops looking milky. Same thing happened to my old YFM225. Didn't cause any permanent damage, but it took about 3 oil changes to get all the water out.
The risky thing about drowning an engine is the possiblity of hydrolocking it. This is where a cylinder fills with water, an upward moving piston hits it, water does not compress like air, and you wind up with a bent connecting rod.
