My owners manual calls for a RC7YC and my quad has a RC7YC3 in it. What does the 3 stand for and do I need the 3?

 

My dealer took out the NGK and put Champion in...........Don't know why I would rather the NGK...............But he told me the champion be better after my first service...........They had some come back with the NGK......So I didn't really cause a debate over the issue...........He should know........So I keep the Champion in.......So far so good!!!........Caper.........

He sells alot of Polaris Quads there!!!........

 

I would prefer to keep the Champions. My auto store has the RC7YC but not with the RC7YC3 like the one I took out of the quad. I am not sure what the 3 is all about. Can I go without the 3?

 

I would guess you could............Why don't you check out the Champion web-site and find out the info there directly..........That should tell you about the last number(#3)...........Hope that helps.............Just make sure they are the same in depth?..........Caper............

Does your owners manual call for NGK?......Or Champiom like you said?...........

 

For the 800 it calls for the Champion. I'll check the web site.
