I have an '03 Raptor 660 that I ride really hard. I am starting to have some difficulty getting it to shift into gear. I keep the oil changed pretty regularly and I put a new Barnett heavy duty clutch in it last year. I never noticed the problem until after I put the in clutch. It seems to get easier after it warms up. Any insight on this would be appreciated.

 

What oil weight are you running? It's sometimes common for a heavier weight oil with a H/D wet clutch to drag more, causing hard shifting. Your statement 'gets better when it warms up' is a giveaway. Try dropping 10wt in the oil, e.g., if you're running a 10-40 drop to a 10-30.
