went to locale polaris dealer to get oils and such, iv been putting premium 4 atv oil in, now polaris has PS-4plus. parts guy said that this oil is also for the sport bikes with wet clutches and gear boxes. looked at my little bit of old polais oil besides of new, and it looks a lot different. has any buddy ran this oil yet? hoop it lubricates just as good if not better. thanks for any info

 

so nobody ran this oil yet, ore am I the only one that byes polaris oil. some body must have seen the new ps-4plus oil by now.

 

I still get the same stuff at my dealer as always!!........I will not need to change the two 450's until the spring......I will know then I guess!!!.............Did he give you the choice of which one to buy .............................Or your dealer only has the new ps-4plus........?????........First I heard of it!!...................Caper...........

 

i know on my 2 08's that i have the engine oil is now differnt from what i had. its now 2-50 synth. vs 0-40 that was in the 06's. its even a differnt color. now i got 2 qts of the old oil that i wont use.

caper, my dealer only had the ps-4plus, my parts guy said polaris don't make the old oil any more. he said ps-4plus oil for all polaris four-strokes.

 

One of the guys i work with just got back from the week long Polaris training school and they said ps4 is all they are going to sell anymore. The old 0-40 is gone bye bye.

 

so they must be compatiable since its 0-40 compared to 2-50. better heat transferance maybe.
