97 sportsman 500 speedometer light
#1
I'm not sure if the 97 has a speedometer light or not, but the wife's 99 335 does. Before I start taking the pod apart, does anyone know for sure if there should be a light on the speedometer? It would make sense to have one. Thanks for any help.

I should have one. It plugs into a hole on the bottom of the speedo. Should be 2 wires, socket and a bulb. Yank the pod apart. It probably fell out of the socket.

On our 97 SP500 we use the odometer as a fuel gage. We set it to Zero at fill up ,and start looking for gas fast at the 100 mile mark. I can not do it with my 2001 SP500 because the digital odometer is almost unreadable. Another polaris change for the worst.
