96 400 sportsman awd problem?
#1
Awd works in reverse. It will work in hi and low if i push up a little on the shifter ****. I can use a bungie to hold the shifter **** up so it will work. If i try the awd without the bungie it will light up sometimes and then go out and in. Its like the shifter needs just a little extra for awd? I see wires going into the shifter maybee dirty connections? The bungie works fine if it is to much of a job.

Order and replace the gear selector switch. I had to replace a bunch around that year of Polaris. They were made of plastic and not reliable. The new ones are made a lot better.
