Hello everybody, Just reading your great post's Lot's of great info. I just put a moose 60" plow on my Y2K 500 Auto. Man what a work horse. Nothing but praise for this setup. A while back we were talking about snorkle kits for the 500 cats. Has anybody come up with a good design? If so this would be the best time to post it because it's not mud season yet. I get all of my add on's from you guy's. You people really know your s### !!! So if you guy's have a snorkle idea for the 500 auto let me know.
Thanks SLY

I was thinking of just getting some PVC tubes and connecting them to the air intake right in front of the seat. I wouldn't want it as a permanent add-on, but something that I could take on and off.

I'll let you guys know if I see anything or actually do it.

You may want to look at the belt ventilation system on the new 02 autos. It looks to be easier to snorkle, it comes out with a round rubber flexable joint. It also hooks the 2 exhaust vents together. When I had my 01 auto I had a piece of 3" flexable hose hooked to the main belt exhaust and ran it up on the front rack. I just plugged the other exhaust vent off. I never had any trouble with it.
As far as the air box I'm in the dark on that.
