Looking to buy my first 4 wheeler, I have located both of these models and am debating which one to buy. They want $1500 for the 250 and $2000 for the 500. I'm 6'1 and about 275lbs so I'm thinking maybe I would be better served with the 500. We are buying my son a 95 blaster and I'll need to be able to keep up with him.

 

I would ditch the Blaster idea and get your son the Trailblazer and you the 500 Scrambler.Blasters are not hte most reliable quad out there.Poor brake and oil injection system.250 TB on the other hand is great for beginners and can be modded as their skills improve.The 500 is a great machine and can be modded to be the best all around quad around.

 

for your size it wouldnt even be a question. the 500 is what you need and like he said the t blazer would be great for the kid.
